Our Social Purpose
Do Some Good exists to help communities thrive by bringing people and organizations together to create impact, make it visible, and inspire even more good.
Communities thrive when people and organizations come together to create positive impact—and when that impact is visible, it inspires even more people to take part. At Do Some Good, we bring businesses, nonprofits, volunteers, media, and communities together to make community impact easier to create, easier to share, and impossible to overlook.
That belief shapes everything we build and every partnership we form—because good grows when it's shared.

Our Story
It all started when our founder was searching for meaningful volunteer opportunities for his two daughters. Along the way, he discovered how difficult it is for people to find opportunities and track their impact—and knew there had to be a better way.
Together with a friend and former teacher, he set out to build a platform that would make it easier to connect people with causes and strengthen communities. After thousands of cups of coffee, hundreds of meetings, and millions of lines of code, Do Some Good launched in December 2015.

Our Team
At Do Some Good, we believe small actions can create big change. That's why we're passionate about helping people, organizations, and businesses strengthen communities and create impact.
Our platform is built FOR the community and continuously shaped BY the community. We value our Do Some Good family, listen closely to our partners and users, and use your feedback to keep innovating, improving, and growing — together.

Our Partners
We are deeply grateful for our partners who stand with us in our social purpose. Do Some Good is proudly part-owned by Prospera and BEEM Credit Union—both of whom truly live and breathe our shared commitment to building stronger communities. Tru Cooperative Bank has also been a steadfast advocate since day one and has helped inspire many of our most impactful features.
We're also extremely proud to partner with Pattison Media and Metroland Media Group, whose commitment to local communities helps amplify good news and extend the reach of community stories.
